Fraser Valley iPhone Repair

A big thanks to Igor at DigitalAbby in Mission for the referral. I helped one of his customer who wanted to repair her grand-daughter's iPhone 5c as a Christmas present. Here is what the phone looked like prior to me repairing it.   

Here are a couple of phones I had to repair today. The first one was an iPhone which needed a new front assembly. It's owner had broken the screen a while back but waited until the LCD started acting until they decided to reach out to get it repaired.  The second phone I did was an iPhone 5 that needed a new screen. Just completed my 3rd repair this evening.  The first phone I had to repair was in Abbotsford. I met the iphone owner at the Seven Oaks Shopping Center to replace a temperamental home button and an aging battery on his iphone 4.  After the repair was completed I headed into Mission to replace the charging dock on an iPhone 4. The dock connector was physically broken and would no longer take a charge. The dock connector was quickly replaced and the phone was again taking a charge.  My last repair was just 1 5 minutes  outside of mission in an area called Hatzik. The iPhone 4S had a smashed screen (see image below) and was starting to loose glass pieces. I installed a new screen for the owner, he was very happy as his only other option was Telus or Apple asking $200. 

Here is one of the phone I had to repair this evening. I spent a few hours at Starbucks on 200th near Highway 1 to repair a few iPhones. The first one was a Black iPhone 4S with a broken front and back glass, the second was a White 4S that needed a new back, the 3rd was an iPhone 4 that required a new home button. My last one was another White 4S this one needed a new front screen. The last one was a referral from Apex Wireless  in Langley. All customers were able to watch while I performed the repairs except for the last one who dropped her phone off on a way to her sports team practice. I dropped the phone off to her after the repair was complete.

After repairing a customer's iPhone a few weeks back, they contacted me asking to help with a Toshiba Laptop with a broken LCD. As I don't advertise the service I was pleased that they contacted me for help. Since I do not carry laptop parts I had to find a good and reliable supplier. I went with http://laptopscreen.com/. The price was right and the new LCD was delivered in 2 days. I picked up the laptop from the customer tonight and once the kids were in bed, went to work on it. I have replaced an LCD on a Dell Laptop in the past and had to take the entire unit apart, this one was much simpler. Here are a few screen shots of the computer before and after.
